Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that helps children around the world receive spiritual & physical hope through gift boxes filled with school items, toys, hygiene items, etc. These boxes open the doors in many areas not receptive to God. They allow the gospel message to be presented to unbelievers through a 12-week Bible study offered to each shoebox recipient.

Packing a Shoebox Gift

How do I pack my own box or boxes? You can get your own box, or pick up an OCC box from the church entrance. Boxes in the church entrance contain a flier about packing shoebox gifts. You can click here to learn more about packing and tracking your box. Please bring your filled boxes on November 15th so we can have a special prayer time during the service. You can also bring them during collection hours, November 16-23.

SCF Packing Party

What is it? A packing party is where people who are excited about evangelism and discipleship get together to pack materials which have been donated throughout the year into shoeboxes. This year’s party will be held in the SCF Fellowship Hall on Sat., Nov. 7th from 1:00-6:00. There are one hour time slots with 10 participants each. You may sign up for as many time slots as you’d like. To participate with set up, packing, or tear down, please go to your Breeze profile page under the sign up section or contact Connie or Lavonne. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

To donate items, please bring them to the church before Friday, the 6th.

If you are uncomfortable with a group packing time, please contact Lavonne to schedule an individual time.
