Dr. Rick Marks will present his series on Survival Skills for Healthy Families.  This is for ALL family types: single parent, step-families, nuclear families and even grandparents raising their grandchildren.  Dr. Rick will cover essential principles and skills for what makes a family healthy, loving, and mature.  Every parent wants to have a loving relationship, not just with their spouse, but also with their children.  Plan now to attend and bring your friends…they are seeking the same.
Dr. Richard Marks, or “Rick” and Louella have been married since 1984 and have 3 adult children. Rick and Louella come from broken and divorced homes and this experience has shaped their lives as adults and sadly, negatively affected their marriage in the early years.

However, because of the strong love and commitment to each other and their faith in Christ, they sought to overturn a generational pattern of brokenness and divorce, and passed on a different legacy to their children. Dr. Marks earned a PhD in Psychology in counseling, a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theology Seminary.
