Book of Romans
Before Paul made his first trip to Rome, the church was a thriving, multi-ethnic congregation.
Before he went. Paul wanted to establish a relationship with the church in Rome.
It was his hope to clear up any misunderstandings about his doctrine before he arrived; he wanted to assure them of his authority and theology.
Initially, Paul emphasized the futility and destructiveness of sin and its impact on humanity; he then shares the plan of salvation through God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
Paul then moves onto practical application of a life through Christ, noting our relationships and behaviors should reflect the Son of God.
We look forward to starting the first session on Sunday April 5th. Since we are meeting virtually through Zoom, if you would like to join us, we would be glad to welcome you as a guest. Please contact Kent Michaelis at and you can be added to the Sunday School class meeting invite and he will try to get a Study Guide to you before next Sunday.
